Fake Wizard of OZ "Black" Republican Group, Project 21 is Back -- but they are Still Not Black

The
Republican group Project 21 is back again. This time praising President Bush for the appointment of Gerald Reynolds to the
United States
Commission on Civil Rights (above). Reynolds has advocated for the elimination
of affirmative action. To place him in charge of the Commission
is a slap in the face of minorities and all who respect civil
rights. As you can see Project 21 is not a Black Group. It's leadership is white. Yet as their latest press release says, "Project 21, has been a
leading voice of the African-American community since 1992." Welcome
to OZ - where we have a fake white group fronting like they are Black,
bestowing praise on Bush for appointing a Black man who is not really

- As stated by Ron Walters "Black conservatives in America do not have a mass constituency in the Black community or linkage with institutions indigenous to Black America. Nor have they sought to build such a constituency or such linkages. Rather, their role is not to lead Black people but to lead White opinion about Black people."

Scoggins in a statement. "By appointing these highly-qualified individuals, President Bush illustrates his genuine commitment to the protection of all citizens.
