White Media Shows Things White Cops Never Saw or Heard Before Executing Black Man in Brooklyn [the Ends Justify the Means in a Police State of White Supremacy]

Elite white media rarely mention "the 4th Amendment" and its so-called protections against unreasonable search & seizures [contrast with the 1st & 2nd Amendments].

In evaluating the legality of the stop, seizure or search  or reasonableness of force used all that matters is what the cops knew and what they saw or heard at the time of the stop; that is, the first hand knowledge the police had in the present moment of the stop. A court will only consider what an officer observed or knew at the time of the stop. What cops subsequently learned from records checks, court records, videos or from the media is not relevant to a 4th Amendment or excessive force analysis - that is, with regard to white people and an analysis of their so-called "rights." However,  such info is relevant to racists b/c they believe there is no innocent Black male, just Black male criminals who have not yet been detected, apprehended or convicted. [MORE

At this point, no Black motorist, juvenile, adult or professional of any kind—could make a compelling argument that constitutional rights afford any real protection on the street from the Government and their race soldiers. The ends justify the means in this police state of racism/white supremacy. All that mattered to NYPD and the white media that supports them is that Saheed Vassell had black skin.

Here, racist suspect simpletons with the NPR, New York Times and rest of the US media parrot whatever the NYPD tells them to. Showing us all sorts of shit that the cops did not know about before they interacted with this Black man. Cops do not hear 911 calls or read scripts or 911 call chronologies on their way to the scene . They get their info from police dispatch. Obviously, cops did not watch videos or "video compilations" from a private camera before interacting with this Black man. Such info is not relevant to whether their conduct was reasonable or unconstitutional. The only question is whether there is any independent evidence to corroborate what the cops claim they saw when they encountered  Saheed Vassell.

The media [a segregated, white owned enterprise with billions of dollars] makes no inquiry as to why no bodycams were worn and as to whether the City surveillance camera at the intersection captured the event [in photo above] . As with excluded black jurors, the view points of eyewitnesses are completely disregarded. The shit presented are justifications for an execution. Who knows, maybe the cops were right? Regardless, the media would rather not know what happened and present nonsense in conformance with the appetite of the racist or mentacidal viewer. Rather than investigate facts, the media focus on all the teddy bear aspects of the story.  Indulge at your own risk.

From [NPR] Roughly one day after New York City police officers shot and killed a mentally ill black man the department has released video clips and transcripts of the 911 calls received in the moments leading up to the confrontation. The four officers had opened fire Wednesday afternoon on Saheed Vassell, 34, after mistaking a metal pipe in his hand for a firearm.

In the video, pulled from security camera footage in Brooklyn's Crown Heights neighborhood, Vassell appears to pull the pipe on several passersby, pointing it at them in gestures reminiscent of aiming a handgun. The transcripts displayed show several callers referring to a possible gun in his hand.

"There's a guy walking around the street," reads one transcript, "he looks like he's crazy but he's pointing something at people that looks like a gun and he's popping it as if like if he's pulling the trigger."

Five officers responded to the calls around 4:40 p.m., NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan told reporters. Monahan said four of the officers opened fire after Vassell took a "two-handed shooting stance and pointed an object at the approaching officers."

Monahan said they fired 10 times, while Vassell was struck a total of nine times, according to New York City's chief medical examiner Thursday. It was only after Vassell hit the ground that police say they discovered he had been holding a metal pipe with a showerhead, not a weapon.

In the hours after the shooting, anger and sadness swept through Crown Heights, the neighborhood where he spent most of his life and where residents say he was a well-known — and well-liked — figure.

"Man, that's our boy," David Bailey told NPR's Joel Rose. "We know this man for like, ever since. He comes to hang out in the barbershop, you know what I mean?"

Bailey and others said Vassell's struggles with mental illness were also well-known, even among local police: "It's visible. You could see it," Bailey added. "Listen, Ray Charles could see that man was crazy." [MORE]
