From [HERE] President Trump has invited all 49 members of the Congressional Black Caucus for a meeting at the White House next Wednesday, according to White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Members of the group later accepted the invitation for the meeting set for March 22 at 3pm.

"We will answer his campaign question to Black America: What do you have to lose?" the CBC said in a tweet.

Trump reached out to the caucus to schedule a meeting in February after American Urban Radio Networks reporter April Ryan asked Trump whether he would meet with the CBC. Trump then asked Ryan, who is black, whether she could set up the meeting.

Trump told reporters during a press conference that month he had tried to schedule a meeting with Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), a senior member of the CBC, but Trump claimed that Cummings backed out. The lawmaker disputed that assertion.

Cummings told reporters last month that he looked forward to speaking to the president about prescription drug prices and voting rights.
